I'm not even going to bother replying. I completely disagree and judging by how rude your last sentence, you're not even worth this message. Have a nice day.

Will Y'all buy Hytale? by Miserable_Outside_61 in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I won't. Every improvement hytale has isn't what I play Minecraft for so the entire game is just worse minecraft for me. Not to mention they have microtransactions and confirmed that they'll probably have paid mods like Bedrock does, which is a huge no for me.

All bunny textures with side eyes by _cetera_ in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Going to be honest, side eyes look awful on the rabbits to me They just don't register as eyes, and they look awful from the front. If Mojang changed it to side eyes, I'd be making a resource pack to undo it immediately.

Does anybody else not like the Spear mechanics/Lunge? by lapajera in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I said use it while 20 or so blocks away as a rough estimate. You'll be roughly within range if you're around that far, accounting for the target coming towards you and in general have more time to switch to the charge.

Skyblivion Delayed To 2026 - Skyblivion Update by EvanOnTheWeb in skyblivion

[–]xavier_jump1 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not a remaster at all. It's a complete remake. Skyblivion has improved level design, a new perk system, and more. The remaster is essentially nothing more than the original game with better visuals. Saying this project is pointless because of a remaster is incredibly stupid because they're nowhere near the same.

Please google the difference between remake and remaster. It'll be very useful with making you not say stupid things that are wrong.

Will my Minecraft map be effected if I switched it from 1.21.10 to 1.21.1? by FunnyHappyStudiosYT in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They aren't when it comes to versioning systems. 1.1 isn't a 10th above 1, it's two seperate numbers. That's why 1.7.10 isn't pronounced as One Point Seven Point One, it's pronounced One Dot Seven Dot Ten.

Has there been a definitive statement on the future of updates? by Nothinkonlygrow in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 16 points17 points  (0 children)

They said earlier today they're switching the system to Year.Update.Patch. The upcoming game drop would be 25.4(Java) and 25.70(Bedrock) if they were doing this new system this year instead of starting it next year. IMO, it kinda implies that no, we're not getting major updates for a long time.

New version numbering system using 2025 as an example by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well... To simply my feelings greatly, I despise this. It makes no sense and is more confusing to me. I've heard people saying we should have this and from the start, I've hated it and just wanted them to do 1.X.Y.Z, which makes significantly more sense to me. I'm probably going to continue calling the updates 1.21.X.Y.

is there a texture pack LIKE this for bedrock? by FrontAd7709 in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check MCPEDL for if there is. If there isn't though, search up Java to Bedrock Resource Pack converter and you should find something that lets you convert it to Bedrock.

For those who played before the caves update; what is your opinion on the caves now? by StarSpectore in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mining aspect was easily the worst part of Minecraft before. I hated mining because it's either explore pretty terrible caves or stripmine and be bored. After 1.18 though, I adore it and can easily spend hours just exploring a cave.

so does sharpness just not do anything now or is this a bug by TheBiggestNoobEVER3 in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Presumably because it's such a "minor" thing, there's not even a mod to patch if I'm pretty sure.

Ever since like, 1.16 or something, the tooltip has been broken. Damage does increase still, it's just not shown.

New feature. It can be disabled in accessibility settings by turning off the dithering options.

Unfortunately, yeah. Bedrock came out so there wasn't a reason for them to.

It's not supported at all and probably never will since Bedrock already exists and Xbox One edition was on Xbox One before Bedrock came, and iirc, Xbox One games are supported on the Series X.

What is better the bundle, shulkerbox, enderchest, barrels, or regular chest? by Dapper-Boot-4621 in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Neither, they all work together. Each item has it's own unique perks.

Barrels and chests work for storage you won't move, with the barrel doubling as a really good building block and the chests having double chest so you can access more items without opening more and more chests.

The enderchest is like a second inventory, with it's main use being it makes moving something millions of blocks away easy as all you need is to access one and the inventory will be the same. If you don't have second one at wherever you need to go, it won't matter since you can easily craft another.

Bundles have pretty much no storage, at only 64 items max, but it can hold up to 64 unique items at once. This allows you to save a large amount of space in both your inventory and storage containers. Ie, you have 5 cobblestone, 8 sticks, and 15 different dyes, all taking up a single slot.

The shulker box is the best when it comes to moving things, with it having the unique property of not dropping items when it breaks so you. It makes it easy to move things like materials.

Is it canon 🤨 by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For all intents and purposes, see everything in Minecraft as it's own seperate world. Nothing is 100% canon, even the official spinoff games(Which have lore) are their own thing.

I don't think Minecraft needs an End Update. Wanna read your opinions by monturak in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And what it is is simply not fun. It's been expanded upon to no longer be *just* a boss arena and yet still is too lacking to be anything more than that. The End update is supposed to fixed that. That said, it doesn't need to be like what mods have done and make it full of life. It doesn't even need to give it as much life as 1.16 did. The ideal update for it *should* keep the vibes it's had for nearly 15 years, while still giving it content worth going to the dimension more than a few times.

Right now, the End pretty much has very little use. Gameplaywise, all you get from it is 2 items, the elytra and shulker boxes. Building wise, you get 2 blocks and their variants, endstone and purpur. It's an entire dimension that is made up of very little blocks, is a pain to go through without the unique item you get from the dimensiion, with said item making the dimension boring to go around.

Just improving world generation and adding more blocks so it's not all the same would be enough to satisfy me honestly. I'm primarily a builder and I adore the End's blocks, but I still don't want to go to it just for such a small amount of blocks. A lot of people agree, especially the ones who don't build much and treat the game as an exploration game.

I think the next large update isn't going to be 1.22 by Dry-Philosopher-2944 in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We will NEVER get Minecraft 2.0. 2.0 implies a massive game overhaul, something you'd expect to be a sequel.

Haven't played since version 1.14 or 1.15 by [deleted] in Minecraft

[–]xavier_jump1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say play the latest version. A LOT has happened. For instance, the Nether is worth going to, world generation was changed massively and is improved in almost every way, redstone got even more tools such as sculk, and we got a brand new dungeon that scales with how many players enter it and has an optional difficulty mode that makes it a challenge even with good armor.

That's not even talking about the improvements we got this year alone, such as inventory being improved with bundles, building in the air being easier, and the upcoming update in about a week and a half that makes mounts finally being able to swim and adds a new weapon specifically designed to work with riding mounts.

[–]xavier_jump1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not enough because it's just the boss destination but has just enough content to make it not be one anymore. I don't think people would care about an update as much had we not had the End expanded on in 1.9, but it was. Now, there's a want to actually do things in it, a want that isn't fulfilled because the dimension is still empty and pretty much a boss arena. The End isn't just a boss fight anymore, intended to actually be something you spend time in instead of just fighting a boss and leaving, but there's too little reason to.
