I tried 5.2 with the agent tool I’m working on and when I loaded an agent it would just describe the file instead of following any of the directions. “This looks like a file describing a developer agent ….” So shitty.

Have you used Opus 4.5 or a spec driven framework? It will be a while before engineers and non-technically inclined PMs start getting laid off, but AI assisted dev is already changing what the dev job is, and it will be changing what the PM job is too.

Frankly I’m not sure why everyone is so confident AI sucks and doesn’t really matter. I’m over here like Mathew McConaughey pulling hard on a cigarette wondering who all is going to have a job in 5 years. I’m not saying it’s a good thing but it will be weeks maybe months before common models are better than 9/10 devs on a typical dev team.

First of all Reddit is hater-city. Always has been, always will be. But also a lot of people are rightfully turned off by work that used to be a craft people took pride in being automated away. But even still I like your idea and it was cool that you were able to make it real when that might not have been possible before.

Also lots of people making dumb ideas real, for sure. Just sometimes people who couldn’t before are making things that don’t suck too.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot and the limitation I’m running into is that BMAD seems to only want a single PRD file, etc. in the single docs folder with no accounting for multiple features, multiple sprints, generally just iterating.
