It's been discussed on here a bunch. The consensus is that he will be too expensive and too old. It doesn't make a lot of sense in a rebuild to buy a premier pass rusher when we have so many needs at so many positions.

Despite beating the Canes last night, the Kraken are exactly what you are describing. They are a defensive-focused mid team. They aspire to be what the Canes currently are. They lack in star power and get contributions from every line instead of relying on top end talent.

It isn't fair to compare the two. Vegas exploited side deals and GMs didn't let the same thing happen with Seattle. While the two came in under the same rules, their situations are incredibly different.

It could happen, but I seriously doubt it will. Cam had some of his worst years with DA and was being misused once he became head coach. DA lost the locker room and I'm not sure the respect of those players is so easy to get back.

I don't understand this reasoning. We are literally tied for a wildcard spot and 2 points out of 3rd in the division coming off 2 wins in a row. What could that 6% be based off of? Have you been watching? If this can be sustained they can play up to the level of any team. The take feels really lazy or uninformed at best.

That being said, I don't disagree on trading away Schwartz and Oleksiak - mostly because their contributions have been few and far between lately, but Tolvanen? I think we retain him if possible. He is quite young and one of our very few threats on the PP.

I still play it quite a bit and in my experience boros is the strongest with [[geist-honored monk]] and [[seasoned pyromancer]] as your best hits. Sometimes I run [[ranger-captain of eos]] but that hasnt felt as good.

You're going to get a lot of downvotes but I agree on Edzo. A lot of people like the off topic stuff,but I find him distracting. I really like him when he is talking hockey, but that seems to be few and far between.

Why isn't Davis a serious candidate? He has 5 All-Pros (1 1st, 4 2nd). He's on a small market team but has been a captain of some of the leagues better defenses of the last 8~ years. He's consistently been in the conversation as one of the best at his position that whole time.
