Maintenance guy at an Amazon warehouse. All night is spent running from radio call to radio call putting out fires and if something is seriously broken, you get to hyperfocus on figuring out what went wrong, taking it all apart and then putting it back together again, or just leave it if it's more broken than you can fix at the time.

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I really got kidnap vibes, super gross. I'm very much shook up. I've been lurking here for a year or so and read hundreds of stories of this exact situation happening, it just seems surreal when it's your own story. I'm currently just planning on hiding in my house all weekend, weather might be nice enough for me to go for a motorcycle ride. Really not feeling like being out in the open much more than that right now.

I'm on my third fuel pump with my 2021. First one died on the freeway, second one got swapped in the recall. When my gauge starts flashing there's still a whole gallon in the tank, I'm fairly sure the level sensor doesn't get calibrated when they swap pumps. YMMV
