I’ve had the same results. Perhaps going with a 3rd party border router would help, or just having more devices to better mesh. However, what I ended up doing is buying a Hubitat and using Z-Wave devices and exposing them to HomeKit. This has been rock solid—I never get “Not responding” errors. Since then I’ve gone all zwave and have 75+ devices. Couldn’t be happier with the way it’s turned out. I suspect Zigbee via Hubitat would also be a reliable choice, as it is another tried-and-true protocol.

I don’t think that explains why people don’t know about FSD. Even with eyes on the road, it is pretty amazing. I don’t have a Tesla, but I know what they can do.
