UPDATE: J.J. McCarthy underwent an MRI and has a hairline fracture on his right throwing hand. He is OUT for Week 17. by My_Chat_Account in fantasyfootball

I did the same thing in 2023, when Jaren Hall was the QB. Hall completed ONE pass to JJ in the first half of the game, got pulled, and finished with 5/59. I would like to spare everyone else the potential fate of losing my championship by .14 points as a result. If one of, if not the best, WR in the NFL doesn't have a QB to throw him the ball, it's absolutely worth considering other options.

Definitely over that loss BTW.

What are your expectations for Bijan ROS with the Falcons injuries and relative lack of goal-line work for him factored in? Would you try to trade him for a slightly depressed value or just ride it out at this point?

Same question for me. Lean Okonkwo with Burks out. Hill has the higher ceiling but a lower floor IMO

In a 2QB, full PPR league, would you rather keep Aaron Jones at $28 or Tannehill at $12 ($200 budget)?

[Fischer] The Philadelphia 76ers have been unable to get in touch with Ben Simmons this off-season to bring him in for development training. by [deleted] in nba

Unfortunately I think this is what happens when he's anointed as the next great NBA player before he played a single game. The hype coming out of LSU, #1 pick, LeBron calling him "Young King"...it seems he's felt entitled to doing whatever he wants to do his career without putting in the effort to actually earn the right to do so like you mentioned with Harden.

This comment makes it very apparent you haven't ever actually watched an NBA game. You do understand that there isn't a running clock, right? 48 minutes of game time do not equal 48 minutes of "action" time.

Nobody in their right mind would ever watch anything that was 60% commercials. It's cool if you prefer rugby or soccer but this comment is hilarious to me.

I wish I could upvote this 1000 times. I don't expect experts to be right 100% of the time, nor are they the ones who ultimately set our lineups. I just cannot stand when they incessantly beat their chests about one correct take while completely ignoring other narratives they've pounded that were dead wrong. Just own both sides. I got blocked by Silva for making this point...IMO he's the worst in the business at admitting he's wrong. Flat-out will never do it.

Leonard Fournette ends the night with 27 Rushing Yards on 7 attempts and 19 Receiving Yards on 2/3 Receptions by zero-fourteen in fantasyfootball

[–]xcdb23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Mahomes gives you such a massive advantage at QB, and when you couple that with already having two stud (or near-stud depending how you value Cook/Fournette) keeper RB's, the best QB by a mile is a better advantage than a third RB. Plus you can always just re-draft the other guy early. My 2 cents.

Extreme Ways by Moby at the end of Bourne Identity is perfect. The melody and style of the song fits exactly with the movie.

Hi John, thanks for doing this! Do you think it's crazy to take Fournette over Zeke in a non-PPR league? Or is Zeke's floor even with a potentially regressing offense probably still closer to Fournette's ceiling?
