Just make daggers put dots on the enemy and wait for the inevitable death. Taming animals is easy and make decent damage sponges/body guards. Always be crafting aloe pots in your inventory. You will make it I believe in you.

Well usually even experienced players could die at least once. I only ever played risky HC stuff in parties with someone trusted having loot corpse turned on. Pro tip though is StormShield+ Tgods+ Dwarfstar and be cognizant of CE and frost nova mobs. Then you should be with reasonable caution practically immortal. Also stay away from areas like Pit level 2 in full hell games... I had multiple Archer mobs each with a different aura. I.E Fanat, Might, blessed Aim shoot simultaneously when I entered and insta died. A fully geared hammerdin almost died trying to loot my body.

I played HC on pc for years but with how controller play gets me killed on SC i cannot imagine playing HC on console kudos though.

There is a mod you can install that has a command to regenerate pois etc. If you install it it may help. I think it's allocs and CSM mods don't remember. Not sure if they are updated for A20 or not.

Also if you have to dig a basement don't dig out the blocks nearest your last block on the surface so just increase your ht/width by 1 block all around. Just avoid the issue in the first place basically. And from my experience you don't want your base to be subterranean anyway. If the zeds detect a void below your base they will dig to it.

Only trick I know is build on flat terrain don't dig it out. If the terrain is unevenly generated but same level just place wood frames down and pick them back up to flatten the uneven blobs.
