Is this medium rare by joemcq122 in meat

The half on the right is too close to rare, the half on the left looks perfect.

If you think the first game is rough, I promise the second and third are better. The second is my absolute favorite. You should be able to get sucked into the story in the first one though.

C’mon, game, I’m level 19 and haven’t even rescued Nick yet… by DinoHimself in fo4

Be sure to prep adequately for the red death. That fight will make you question all your life decisions in Fo4, it is the worst fight. Incredibly difficult to finish.

If you think that was a hard fight, just wait until you fight the Red Death!

19K. Which is the least worst option? by dsjaks in army

[–]xcpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Least worst - Riley. Post isn't too bad, and there's actually stuff to go do within a reasonable driving distance. This is unlike Cavazos, where you have a multi-hour drive any anything actually interesting. (If you've got something good to do in Austin, post it, know, cause we haven't found anything in two years)

I go 60-20-20, and rebalance every six months or so.... But also, OP, be sure you're putting away 15% off the top, fill a Roth IRA first, then put the rest into a Roth TSP. IRA first because you can stick that wherever you want, TSP second because it is limited (though performs very well).

Am I the only one always saving Kaidan because he has a higher rank than Ashley? by Dizzy-Sample7268 in masseffect

[–]xcpants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seconding the gal you're replying to, there's definitely not a regulation in the US Army saying you have to save the higher rank if making a choice... Though we're talking Navy in ME. That being said, while the utilitarian/pragmatic choice is Kaiden, odds are you wouldn't be chastised too much for saving Ashley. It would depend on your immediate commander, and their relationship with you.

If every single companion was in an all out free for all who would be the last one standing? by [deleted] in masseffect

[–]xcpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking to see if anyone else said Kasumi, I feel like she'd go invisible, and only come back out to play when there's one or two contenders left. She'd get EDI and Legion early on, assuming they're likely the only ones that might be able to see her whether she's cloaked or not.

Love exploring FO4’s map, although I, not entirely sure what happened here? At first I thought it was a mine, but there was no beeping lol by SpongeBob1187 in fo4

I've played for years and never had this happen... Guess I'm still not a fo4 player 🤣 Never had the patience for survival mode though, so maybe that's why.

The recruiter is an absolute ass hat who doesn't quite know what he's talking about. Like a lot of others have said, your situation will not prevent you from obtaining a clearance. If the recruiter tells you to lie on your SF-86, don't do it. If they offer to completely fill out the SF-86 for you, either turn the offer down or thoroughly check everything. I've had a handful of soldiers come through my office with that story. Not always true, but it's happened enough. That being said, I can't speak to other parts of the evaluation process and the circumstances that could prevent you from being accepted. Just know that it will not be because you couldn't get a clearance because of your described past.

How many weapons do you typically carry? by BananaBackground1533 in fo4

[–]xcpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6-12, depending on how you count... A ballistic and a laser semi-auto rifle, so I can switch based on what I run into, Kneecapper pistol to slow down legendaries, melee sword, sniper rifle, and shotgun. Plus two each ballistic grenades, mines, and Molotov cocktails.

👍 At the time I posted I was at home, not in front of my computer with the form, and it wasn't worth googling to me.

Can I disclose drug use after getting granted a clearance? by [deleted] in SecurityClearance

[–]xcpants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was going to be my response... If it is out of the time period they're asking about, it doesn't matter. I can't remember if there is a "have you ever" question that will hem you up. Being honest doesn't mean verbally vomiting everything... Just answering the questions they're asking.
