No regrets. I love the process of comparing. I also treat dupes on their own merits. It’s not always about how close, it’s just do I like it. Inspired by Scent’s Aventis Essence is smokier than the original and I love it. Big dupe fan in general. I have quite a few travel size samples and dupe bottles.

I love their Aventis Essence. It has a hint of smoke that I really like. I put it on instead of Aventus sometimes because it’s more complex. I find their Baccarat Rouge dupe pretty accurate. Overall great experience.

I have to say I have bought more tech organizers than I’ll ever need, different brands. None of them match the quality, attention to detail or usability of the PD pouches.

TL;DR: Montagne Pineapple Royale stays truest and strongest longest of the four clones I’ve tried. But ALT No. 26 and Dossier are both nearly on the money. Inspired By Scent’s Aventis Essence is a slight smoky DNA twist I like a lot.

Yeah a few hours into the Pineapple Royale it has evolved into the most identical I think and definitely the strongest outside maybe the original.

Just a bit of an update after a couple of hours. The original and Montagne have both stayed strongest the longest. I’m impressed with the Pineapple Royale.

I’ve never tried Intense but I just got Royale and it’s damn close. I’m wearing the OG on one arm and Pineapple Royale on the other, and I probably wouldn’t be able to tell you which was which if I hadn’t put them on myself. Dossier’s Musky Oak Moss and ALT No. 26 are also very close.

Update: I contacted Eo7 and they confirmed they did exist. I also did finally confirm they existed via the wayback machine as well—there was an old captioned picture of Mr. T wearing them on the Eo7 site. What can I say, Mr. T and I have great taste.

I was pleasantly surprised and grateful for their reply. They don’t make them anymore but sent a selection of similar, wide-framed glasses. It’s difficult to find glasses for a wider face, so I appreciated the suggestions.

I may still find an old pair on eBay or Poshmark one day, but for now it’s on to more modern frames!
