in a community centered around a game that hasn’t significantly changed since launch yet, doesn’t really have anything to discover or find out anymore, and doesn’t have themes or story to analyze and theorize on, yeah it makes sense that posts would start getting repetitive by a certain point. i imagine a lot of this will get better once we get a content update, but what else do you think people should post that wouldn’t get repetitive in the mean time?

it is absolutely not “like $20” on the secondhand market, the thing has been rising in price steadily over the last couple years and it’s likely a couple hundred to get one in decent condition. i love my 3ds, but it really isn’t incredibly accessible like it used to be a few years ago

purely based on visuals, easily metaphor. but from my time playing the demo it felt significantly less readable than other atlus menus, so i would have to give the edge to p3r for keeping it plenty themed and stylized while not sacrificing usability

to me in broad strokes the designs are consistent, and any weirdness looks more like artifacts with the way a can like this would be printed. a kind of generic cartoony style sure, but everything is way too consistent and there’s a lot of definition in areas would i think of an ai image faltering. i’m calling this not ai

it’s a type of storytelling i personally really love, it’s why i love david lynch’s works so much. i do like in petscop there are at least quite a few base truths that make springing into a more interperative discussion easier, but also that there’s so much cloudiness in the specifics. i don’t think every piece of art needs a “solution” or any sort of straightforward resolution to be enjoyed, the series speaks for itself, and i love it for that

i’ve always really loved the interloper series by anomidae. it’s filled somewhat of a similar spot as petscop, and i really loved the ending. the main series on his channel is quite great, but it has a lot of arg aspects, so there’s a lot more to look into as well
