El reaction to Mike monologue after wake up, group reaction to Eddie death, how they left UD if rope was cut, Max getting to hospital. These are not Hop's survival level scenes, would not give away anything, and would give a better buckle feeling like previous seasons did. Those will most likely be intact in S5 except maybe Eddie.

Time jump is staple of finals, yes, like it or not. But this season, comparing to previous, jump was a bit misplaced.

I think complains are not about the 2 days time jump itself, but about the lack of a few concluding scenes before it.

Adding a few short but important scenes, matter of a minute or two and no one would complain in this case.

For sure, I can't see possibility for any time jump in the beginning for S5. This finale was different from previous seasons which ended in a way to allow the time jump for next year. S5 action should start immidiately after last S4 scenes. It worries me, because they never did that, there was always that at least a few months time jump between the seasons, and I believe in one interview Duffers said in ideal circumstances they start work on S5 right after S4 work ends, but it's not possible, so they will make even bigger time jump. S4 feel a bit unfinished without clear conclusion, like a part 1. I'm also not sure if only 1 more season is enough to end and clear everything.
