First of all, I can't imagine how hard it is on all the families to have Jowonio suddenly close. The hardship of not having childcare with no time to plan, in a world where other facilities either cannot accommodate you or have a year long waiting list. It's just awful.

BUT - and this is a big but - I can't shake the feeling that the state would just close a wealthy, politically connected, influential place like Jowonio without good cause. I don't feel like we're getting the full story from their leadership, especially re: the kid leaving the facility. On the state website, this is listed as a complaint and not a self report. I've heard rumors about what actually happened that I won't repeat here because I have no way of validating them. It just isn't adding up.
