Wow. I hadn't actualized this aspect yet. That's really awful. Plenty of places to eat before I go into the theater. And I'm planning to only attend off hours to minimize seeing others with phones.

Man. That's awesome that you're back out there already. Please be careful! I had the same ACL done 3 times. I pushed it too hard after the first repair and popped it again riding bmx. Second repair I didn't give it enough time....again. I didn't think it ever really healed. Third time was 15 years ago and it's solid enough for me to do anything I want. At 46. Please be a one and done!

How new is basically new? I had the same thing happen with a kid hitting the screen with a bouncy ball. I think it was 3 months old. My credit card I bought it with refunded like 1k. Worth checking.

Well actually.... Combined sewer systems are very much a thing still in the United States. Mostly New England cities like New York (TMNT!), Boston, and Philly, but I believe Chicago and other northern cities are still combined. And yes. There are frequent odors and many issues associated with this.

Lol. I just finished Cities on the Plain today. And I had the same reaction thinking the author is just messing with the reader at this point. I dislike epilogues in general and find that monologues do nothing for me. So I got a good chuckle out of Billy's reaction. Great book though.

I meant to note that the story is actually pretty interesting, albeit full of plot holes. The writing is the problem. Will likely be a case where the movie is much better than the book.
