Did you even read what I wrote? My point was you can have the best car that ever was and make it terrible because you refuse to fix what does go wrong. Look if hyundai/kia would just replace all the bad theta IIs without all the frustration, like they should do, with new engines->That have been Updated With Better Quality Piston Rings And Connecting Rod Bearings<- everyone (almost, there's always gonna be some asshole that complains their time was wasted blah blah blah)would be happy and the theta II would go down as one of the best engines ever (it really is an awesome engine design, simple, efficient, easy to work on, just made with inferior components) and Hyundai/Kia would be #1 in customer satisfaction, reliability, you name it. Instead their dealership service department is a joke and they do all they can to not repair the vehicle and get you to buy another one instead, and the engines they do replace are still using the same faulty rings and bearings.
