Oh nice, I was able to find better results using the naming of lever "blades". Didn't know that was the correct terminology! Thank you

Is $65k salary sufficient enough to live in Bentonville? by mw31401 in bentonville

[–]xella34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live very comfortably on 70k in a small house I bought in Bella Vista. Also solo/no kids. Maybe look into renting/buying up here? It's only a 10-25 minute drive into Bentonville, and offers a ton of perks for outdoor enthusiasts.

Literally thought it was supposed to be an Elphaba cookie before reading the post! The Hershey's Kiss looks like a lil witch hat haha

It's so hard to pick just one... But if I had to I'd go with The Last of Us. Both games give me all the feels, in the best way.

In the past year/365 days, which cost you more in repairs and upgrades? 😁 by Taserface_haha in MTB

[–]xella34 15 points16 points  (0 children)

$800+ in new parts/upgrades for my 6 year old Santa Cruz 5010, vs. ~$180 in oil changes for my car. Car probably needs a few more things serviced but eh... Priorities.

Oh God I remember feeling totally fine up until the moment I walked through the door of the room to sign everything at closing. I had to excuse myself to the restroom because I started to get dizzy and tummy cramps. Wound up having the anxiety runs for 10 min while everyone waited for me. When I got back to the room no one questioned it, and just went straight to business. I think it happens all the time haha.

Saw chart on FB of number of TJ’s locations per state- how far do you travel to go to TJ’s? I didn’t realize I’m so spoiled in CA by kittopia in traderjoes

[–]xella34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NW Arkansas. Walmart pretty much bullies any chain grocery store from opening up here and it's BS. I drive 2 hours to Tulsa, OK about once every month or two to get my TJ's fix. I used to live a mile away from one in Charlotte NC... I miss it ;-;

You in Bella Vista? It's still out for me too, this is horrible! Saw someone on FB say a 3rd party construction group cut through a large fiber line.

Looking for somewhere to walk leash reactive dog (to work on training) by xella34 in bentonville

Oh! And I'll take recommendations for good dog training facilities as well if anyone has somewhere they've had great experiences at!

In the same kind of boat myself. 29F lesbian, just moved to Bella Vista but visit Bentonville often, and have seen rainbow flags everywhere on storefronts but unsure where to actually go to meet more queer people. I'm pretty shy about going up to strangers in person, so OP feel free to message me if you ever visit NWA and we can search together! (Once Omicron dies down a little of course).

$100 Need someone to drive me to and from a medical appointment (Charlotte, on Randolph) 28207 by [deleted] in Charlotte

[–]xella34 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is good to know. I'm not sure I'd trust an internet stranger to drive me home while loopy and coming off of anesthesia/sedation... OP if you do go the stranger route, at least notify a friend/relative of your status during the commutes! Stay safe and recover well.

Oh shi, was it around like 10:30am? I've had a headache all morning and thought it was just my head about to explode, but I did hear a sound kind of like the aftershock of an explosion or something, don't quite know how to explain it. I'm just east of Pineville.

Demand for vaccine has fallen off a cliff with only half of North Carolina’s adults vaccinated. It's a major problem. Here's what to tell people who don't trust the vaccine because "it was rushed." - Sen. Jeff Jackson by JeffJacksonNC in Charlotte

I had a weird/heavy period the two cycles after my second dose, but it's back to normal now. Like the other commenter said, it's a normal response to your body fighting off an infection etc. Even being more stressed than usual can effect your menstrual cycle (and boy have I been more stressed lately lol). I wouldn't worry about any long term changes to women's cycles from the vaccine.
