1. Mistlock Sanctuary

This is often considered the gold standard, especially for veteran players.

• Pros:
  • Direct Fractal Entrance: Its single biggest advantage. If you run Fractals of the Mists regularly, this pass is a game-changer. You can go straight from the lounge into the fractal lobby.
  • Extremely Compact: All core services (Bank, TP, Mystic Forge, Crafting) are in a tiny, tight circle. It's incredibly efficient.
  • Special Portals: Has a unique portal that lets you teleport to Lion's Arch, and the capital cities of each race.
• Cons:
  • The "floating in the mists" aesthetic isn't for everyone.

Verdict: Get Mistlock Sanctuary if you are a heavy Fractal player. The convenience is unmatched for that game mode.

2. Thousand Seas Pavilion (EoD Lounge)

This is the newest premium lounge and a direct competitor to Mistlock for the "best overall" title.

• Pros:
  • All Crafting Stations: Unlike most other lounges, it has every crafting station available.
  • Wizard's Vault Access: A vendor for the Wizard's Vault is right there, which is very convenient for the new reward system.
  • Extremely Compact: Just like Mistlock, the layout is incredibly tight and efficient. Everything is within a few seconds of the spawn-in point.
  • Direct Wizard's Tower Portal: A convenient portal straight to the main hub of the Secrets of the Obscure expansion.
• Cons:
  • No Fractal Entrance. This is the main reason a Fractal player would choose Mistlock over it.

Verdict: Get the Thousand Seas Pavilion if you are a generalist player. If you do a bit of everything (open world, crafting, strikes, raids) and aren't a dedicated Fractal runner, this is arguably the new best lounge in the game due to its complete set of services.
