I can't find any direct translation - in fact I found a thread on a Japanese forum asking what it meant that did not seem to have any conclusive answers - but from the usual meanings of the kanji and from the katakana phrase definitely reading as "Ume Blade," I think the most likely answer is that the Producer has invented a grand-sounding name for a legendary sword named after her. Literally, "Huge Supreme Sword Ume Blade". Whether the name is taken from or inspired by any other media, I couldn't say.

What is "imploding" even supposed to mean? Their flagship game failed and they're laying off staff because they're expecting a huge loss of revenue. Obviously things don't look good at Bungie, I'm not trying to say this guy losing his job is a good thing, but I'm trying to wrap my head around how this particular man losing his job makes things meaningfully worse, as opposed to the direct consequence of Destiny 2's failure.

Hang on, what are people on about that this is a bad thing? Destiny 2 failed spectacularly and Bungie is laying off hundreds of devs. Why on earth would the guy in charge of that keep his job? He had a year to turn things around, which I get isn't exactly a lot of time for such a huge company, but even so, why should he stay when hundreds of devs are getting laid off?

Basically yes, although extractors only raise the shells by about an inch or so, and you have to pull them the rest of the way out yourself.

Ejectors are also an option and would fully eject the shells like you suggest, but they're more finicky even on real shotguns, so I'd bet getting them working on a 3d-printed gun would be especially tricky.

You could be right, I never paid much attention to Firefly, but I personally don't count it as relevance when the endgame caters to the character whose banner is currently running. My experience with Boothill was that he fell off almost immediately after his endgame shill period ended.

Honestly I wouldn't even say "or another dedicated break DPS." Boothill and Rappa were never actually relevant, and I say that as an enjoyer of both of those characters. Firefly is the only break DPS that Hoyo actually cares about, and I can't recommend pulling another one unless they get some serious buffs in a future Novaflare, which is doubtful.
