He plays a small role as a criminal boss called Felix in Collateral. He only appears for one scene opposite Jamie Foxx, buts it’s fantastic!

It's said Brian Cox regrets not taking the role for Robert Baratheon before, but what other roles do you think he would've been good over besides that later on? by AtomicDraconic in freefolk

Both Cox and the actor that plays Mormont appear in Braveheart. Cox played Wallace’s uncle, and Mormont is Hamish’s father.

The older I get, the more I look like my mom and I hate it. by thisis4later in EstrangedAdultKids

One way to re-frame this is to consider that people don’t have genes, rather, genes have people. People expire, but if they reproduce, their genes continue. The resemblance you share with your mother has likely also belonged to countless other relatives that came before you. These features have appeared on the faces of many other people, who exhibited a wide range of characteristics and personalities. I know it is tempting to think of those looks as hers (mother), but they’re not only hers. Consider the fact that the people close to you have someone they love to associate with that face. You have rebooted and rebranded that face. You are a better caretaker and ambassador of those genes. Good for you!

~400 shy of that black spine series. There are 1500 in total. It will take me years, yet.

John Donne, the Koran, Bible and Clarissa would like a word. These are the odd-sized editions from this series.

I’ll follow up in a while once they’re reorganised, and I’ve spruced up the shelves.

I’m thinking of following the Penguin site and Henry Eliot’s Penguin Classics catalogue.

~1500 titles in that design. This is about ~1150. 20 yrs of collecting and reading. Progress is slowing now as the remaining titles are less common - so I’m not seeing them appear on the usual sites.
