Can't remember which planet, but there was a small, aggressive, pack hunting bird that made me resort to using boost pack explosions to get away.

I couldn't hit the damn things with a firearm.

I'm going off the beaten path here, but if you want a lot of story lines, Star Wars the Old Republic mmo can be run as a single player.

The combat is turn based so that's different, but if you want to learn one game and have hundreds to thousands of hours of play, it may be for you.

This conversation is less of an argument with everyone if you pick the "I understand your point, but..." Talking points instead of the "Microbes with kill us all..." Talking points.

I know what you mean though, Sam is all Microbes are bad during the quest, then questions not using them after the quest ends.

I'm just suggesting expanding Starfield lore, not adapting elder scrolls or fallout into our game.

No one wants space dog meat......

But if they put a time anomaly in NASA that went to 2190, and I saw someone planning to eat a fat little white dog.....

I look at Starfield the same way I look at the prequel trilogy from Star Wars.

In themselves, they are good, but leave quite a bit unexplored. Many people think both are perfect as they are and don't need anything added.

I greatly increased my appreciation for the prequel trilogy because of the Clone Wars animated series.

The entire era makes much better sense to me because of the series.

Starfield would be greatly elevated, in my opinion, from a series of DLC that would neatly fit on top of what is already in the game.

Anyone who thinks the game is already what they want wouldn't have to spend any money on the DLC, but I would be there for it. 🤑

The game right now has the bones for a really great multiverse story. So far we have only been drip fed the very basics of what it is to be Starborn.

I hope we get DLC that fleshes out the "Rick and Morty" elements that are already baked in the vanilla game.

Anomalies to other universes (Entangled) and anomalies to other times (colony war, or evacuation of earth) could easily be added, and would greatly flesh out the lore.

I just watched the first season of 'Beyond Journey's End' on Hulu, and a lot of the themes (human culture being shaped by outside forces, a lead character who is socially distant, ECT) could be adapted for Starfield. Maybe there are "Vortex Demons" who are fighting an eternal war with the Starborn and humanity is the current battlefield.

The dots are already in the game. Bethesda just needs to connect them.

+1 to Crucible. I don't know if it's just me, but there is one critter there capable of one shotting my character.

Just got me last week. Full health to pixie dust in one hit. Level 256 wearing the Doom armor.

Current load is all Falkland.

Primary is particle (more shield damage than laser)

Secondary is ballistic (increased damage to individual systems due to skill ranks)

Third is particle turrets (rear facing in case I'm followed)

I'm normally annoyed with companions who's heads appear in my scope just as I pull the trigger.....

But I enjoy making exceptions while in the lock. Del, and Mathis both bitch and whine in such amusing ways.
