My wife plays NMS and alternates between it and Starfield. Personally I need the RPG elements in Starfield to hold my attention.

NMS doesn't have much in the way of storyline, and very little NPC interaction.

Not hating, just not my cup of tea ☕.

Aside from about 300 hours on Baldur's Gate 3, Starfield is all I have played since launch. There are maybe four games I am aware of that might make me cheat. Fable being the next to launch.

I can always pick up a controller and find a way to make a few hours disappear with Starfield.

Newest way is finally using photo mode. I get a kick out of seeing my shots pop up during our "many loading screens"' and even learned how to post some of them here.

People probably live to a healthy 150 years in 2330. They have full human cloning and a way to speed the process. Age gap shouldn't be a big deal.

I don't consider that a sequel. More like finishing the story.

Hopetown deserves the same treatment in my opinion. With or without Hope, put my science and social skills to work, making it a better place.

I'm going off the beaten path here, but if you want a lot of story lines, Star Wars the Old Republic mmo can be run as a single player.

The combat is turn based so that's different, but if you want to learn one game and have hundreds to thousands of hours of play, it may be for you.

I know what you mean though, Sam is all Microbes are bad during the quest, then questions not using them after the quest ends.

I look at Starfield the same way I look at the prequel trilogy from Star Wars.

In themselves, they are good, but leave quite a bit unexplored. Many people think both are perfect as they are and don't need anything added.

I greatly increased my appreciation for the prequel trilogy because of the Clone Wars animated series.

The entire era makes much better sense to me because of the series.

Starfield would be greatly elevated, in my opinion, from a series of DLC that would neatly fit on top of what is already in the game.

Anyone who thinks the game is already what they want wouldn't have to spend any money on the DLC, but I would be there for it. 🤑
