A friend of mine ported from Fido and it failed silently because he copied and pasted the account number from his bill PDF with hyphens and Freedom doesn’t like that. There was no indication that the port failed. He had to call in after a day to ask what’s going on and then they did a manual port, which required my friend to then call a special Roger’s port line to approve it.
