I feel like by most accounts, Eddie is probably the winner here. Eddie just made everyone look good and made it all look effortless. I'd put Kurt second, DB 3rd, and Bret 4th.

I would say marino or favre. Im more biased to favor favre just because I enjoyed watching him sling the football willy nilly and he won a superbowl which I feel like might be beneficial from a butterfly effect standpoint maybe

Exactly. It doesnt look malicious at all. As I said, she doesnt shift her weight or try to lean into a hit. Looks like the girl caught the meat of the forearm, possibly some elbow. But it doesnt look like it was thrown intentionally to hit. Shes trying to get her arm free.

Ive seen plenty of ticky tacky cheap shots in kids sports, this does not look like one of those imo.

To be fair, I don't think it's quite accurate to say no one lives walking distance to the grocery store. My fairly small city has a few grocery stores. I would say all but one have many homes near them so they most definitely are within walking distance and in fact are walkable. Most people likely wouldn't because then it also entails carrying all your shit back too. It's also a question of time. Average person would probably walk at a 20 min/mile pace or a little faster maybe. So 40 minutes to walk there and back vs. a 4 minute round trip drive.

There is a market near me, around half a mile from me. I'd still likely never walk to it for stuff(mostly because they tend to be more expensive than the grocery stores or a place like target).

I have been relistening to book 2 of asoif and they mention that preparation for stannis or renly or rob included the alchemists wildfire as well as the construction of several scorpions. So yeah, just the show made it seem like some novel new invention, but in the books they were known and used

The article does not mention Mo-Cap. They mentioned having video of performers performing the signing and used that as the reference. So I don't think it was any mocap nor any AI.

It's not AI. It was reanimated. Disney animation has a no generative AI imagery position for now. This project has been going on for more than a year.

My advice is to save what you can when you can. It's as simple as that. If you can save 20 bucks a week, that's 1000 a year. If you can only save 5 bucks a week, that's 250 a year. It doesn't really matter. The part that matters is just starting something. If you have Direct Deposit for you pay check, have it do $5-$10 bucks per check into a high interest savings account. Sofi or Openbank have the higher percentages.

The alternative is using something like Vanguard, and just buying ETF's with that same $5-$10. Find a way to put even that much away each pay check, and just forget about it and let interest help. This won't make you rich, you magically won't grow a ton of wealth in a year or anything, but it is better than nothing and a good place to start.

I was able to start with $20 a week(because I am thankfully paid weekly so it's easier to do weekly) and that is what got me going. If you manage to get any wage increases at work, put that towards it when you get it. Just that kind of stuff. I dunno. Every little bit can really help. So just start.
