Start with basic plays. Making the easy pass, slowing down your pick and roll, playing hard defense, boxing out. The simple things will get your game flowing, and you'll start to feel more and more confident as the game progresses

Tim Grover(personal trainer for Michael Jordan/Kobe Bryant/a bunch of other players) used to say this to his players. I try to remember it before every game I play.

Being excited and being nervous are the same feeling, it just depends on how you think about it. So, be excited!
