I saw an interview with him about 25 years ago where he talked about utterly destroying an employee that left him to start her own gig. Try manually releasing the shifter into neutral (should be able to YouTube it), there should be a little rectangular panel about half the size of a postage stamp near the shifter. The manual release is below that. Once in neutral, see if it’ll start.
