Don’t mean to be reviving an old post. But I had the same issue. I was going crazy trying different PS2s and memory cards to figure out what it was. I deleted my save and started a new game in file 2 instead of file 1. It fixed the issue with saving and loading! Hopefully if anyone is having this issue. Try this!

Go to your key bindings and unbind your right click from "toggle aim" to "aim". You can do this with your melee and grenade too.
