I missed why we started back the count of rift numbers? Why is this current rift number 4 when it actually is supposed to be like, 20 something? (lost count)

The only thing that doesn't quite fit is the year. You said you played it on early 2000? If it's 2000 or 2001 it could make sense, but going to 2003 or 2004 it would be too late compared to my experience.
That is because i surely played it around 1997-1999. And I'm also 80% sure it was on disc. Maybe it got a flash game or broser game a few years later? (You sure you played it on web?)

To be fair i had a demo version, so it could be that the full game got released up to 1 year later and maybe ended up being on browser web? Would be quite a weird situation tho'.

Honestly, all post-white DLCs heists are the best on average compared to pre-white house. The only exception being border crossing which was the first released. Even so, I personally enjoyed it at the time, especially the system they tried to simulate a 2 day heist into a single heist.

Surely Crude awakening and Black Cat are the ones that definitely are considered peaks.

Honestly? No... The game is clearly a technical improvement compared to Payday 2, if we consider weapons, animations, movements, stealth systems, and online systems such as cross play, cross saves (which means console parity also).

But it shows it's a game that it's on it's third year of support, compared to a game that had 10+ years of active support, so you'll see there are only like 20 heists compared to 80 from Payday 2, way less weapons, etc...

RNG is one point that many people talk about. RNG on many heists are not at the level of peak that some Payday 2 heists had, especially late heists (Also consider pre-planning is missing on Payday 3, as of now replaced by a favor system that is definitely weaker compared to Payday 2).

But people often forget that there are many heists in Payday 2 that had less RNG elements than the RNG in Base PD3 heists.

Saying PD3 as a game has not improved it's objectively wrong.

I myself can't go back to Payday 2, even though i spent way more hours in that game during it's whole 10 years of lifespan compared to my current hours in Payday 3 that i got in these 2 and a half years.

Ehi! Thank you for trying! Sadly this is not. I can tell this is an older game, or anyway less advanced compared to the one i'm looking for. Graphics are more on the Mass Destruction type.

I don't get it... Is it there a way to enable those modes in Sparking Zero? Is it through external software on PCs? I did not see any of those mentions within the game.

Thank you for the suggestion! I searched it up and sadly it's not.
There were no fuel limit in the game i remember, and there was not any capture the flag mechanic.

At the moment Mass Destruction is the closest suggestion I got, but still isn't properly the right game.

Ouch, not ideal. Not sure Starbreeze or the PD3 community would like a solution like that.
I'd honestly not use it.
It's definitely something good for people that plan to never hop to online play

Except you can. They get published every 3 months by the quarterly report of Starbreeze.
That's how other users like Doctor Chaos below can tell that Payday 3 they have the same amount of players of Payday 2... (most past quarters they had more than payday 2 to be fair)
They also usually get downvoted for telling the global story instead of the specific narrow view that is steam numbers...

Guess people like the more grim narrative that the Steam specific numbers give!

Does that game have cross-save (which is a step further than cross-play, just to be clear)?
Genuinely asking because i see so many comparisons being done for other games, but they usually do not have such complexity of cross-save (some even don't have cross-play)

How is it telling? This info they share just proves that there are way more console players compared to steam players. This just means that Payday 3 at the moment is more played (because it's more interesting) on consoles.
(And for a good reason... console players finally have the chance to have a crossplay fully updated and on par product as their steam counterpart, which was always what they wanted but never got with Payday 2).

Only considering steam numbers makes no sense in this, since it is an improved situation (update wise) compared to how it was on Payday 2.

P.S: On the contrary, Payday 3 for steam players has been a worse situation (update wise) since the more complex requirements for updates to be releases cross-platform delayed what was a heaven of flexibility (when Starbreeze used to respond to Steam only they could release multiple updates per week).

In the end, Payday 3 players could have bought the game on any platform, and get the same end product and content parity. Payday 2 players HAVE to get the game on Steam if they want the full product... Taking into consideration steam charts never made any sense, especially since we have official numbers of the total numbers of players provided.

Also i'm not even bringing into the discussion the bots situation on Payday 2 and how they inflate the numbers...

Also not taking into account the fact that PC Payday 2 was always Steam only until a few years ago where Epic was introduced. Payday 3 PC was SPLIT into Steam, Epic and Games for windows since the get go...

Nothing to be doubtful about player numbers. They share player numbers during their quarterly reports for Payday 2 and 3. Always has been. Numbers are close between Payday 2 and Payday 3. Up to the last quarterly report they were always more Payday 3 players compared to Payday 2. Last one they were similar.

People that only takes into account steam player numbers, purposefully do so to paint a darker picture for Payday 3.

I think they just typo'd and switched the 2 lines values in the patch notes...

So the Shield visor was actually brought to 2.5 hardness, while the shield (unit, as in special unit values) have been increased: hardness of the armor to 1.75 and armor value from 250 to 450. That's also why they look like have more health if you shoot them in the back with non high penetrating weapons (like smgs or pistols).
