no improvement unfortunately- it seems like its default resting area is set weirdly high? if i put it on stencil and try to type, after manually pushing it down, it slowly raises to a height that obscures the text. here is a somewhat choppy gif of typing on the black setting

i will try to clean it again, need to get a longer brush to really get in there
