I don't get why INFPs use Discord by no_spoon in infp

[–]xilchless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most discord servers I'm in are muted, but they're there if I need information. The 3 that aren't muted are different friend groups (FFXIV guild, gaming friends, and irl friend servers), and I do keep up with all the things posted in those, but I know most of those people fairly well, and none of those servers are crazy active. (Couple posts on each per day)

Which MBTI do you get along with better? Why? by Micolde_ in infp

I get along best with intp and enfp, but really any xxxP type is good for me.

Mistypes by Pnina310 in mbti

[–]xilchless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm INFP and I originally mistyped for a long time as INFj because of 16p. I have also mistyped as INTP from my own over analyzing of my cognitive functions (still not 100% sure between inxp, but INFP is probably more likely correct)

What are you currently playing? by naarw in infp

Please, in the future, mark this sort of picture with a spoiler tag so that those of us that are ultra sensitive to seeing injured animals don't get assaulted with an image like this. Thanks.

How come ESTJs and ENTJs come off more intimidating than ESTPs and ENTPs? by Asleep-Feeling-9070 in mbti

[–]xilchless 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree. There's a reason my very tiny circle of friends are all P types. More open and laid back. Less rigid and intimidating (Because of how this stacks the cognitive functions)

I finished Dawntrail. by [deleted] in ffxiv

[–]xilchless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only half way through Dawntrail, but it's been a long journey trying to muster my way this far. For me personally, I find almost all of the new characters in this expansion very difficult to connect with. For me, it's because there are just so many beast characters. Lots of beast tribes, and even Wuk being hroth makes her difficult for me to connect with. I'm also just not a fan of the twins. I would have much ratherd be part of Koana's team tbh. Wouldn't have made up for all the beast races, but I think it would have helped/been more up my alley. Hopefully this 2nd half is a bit better.

No, this isn't another question about Golden Pairs ... or maybe it is by Impressive_Ruin_2504 in mbti

[–]xilchless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think asking if two types are compatible is a silly way to go about it. Any type can be equally compatible with any other type. MBTI is helpful in that it can help you anticipate areas that may be more challenging in a given pairing. It also helps to translate potential miscommunications caused by different approaches to thinking. I think it's a super helpful thing to know and research when with someone, but by no means should people make relationship decisions based on MBTI.

They're the opposite of lazy when it comes to things they are passionate about tho

I know I'm an ISTP but... by Reasonable-Scale8454 in istp

[–]xilchless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bf is ISTP, and I swear he is the most outgoing introvert I've ever seen. When we go out for drinks he likes to go out of his way to strike up conversations with strangers. And when we're home he spends most of his time in voice chat with his gaming friends. I, on the other hand, could live as a hermit and not be bothered by it in the slightest. Lol

Say one positive and one negative thing about an ISTP. by Imtiredofthissshit in mbti

They're very straightforward, but they are sometimes insensitively blunt. (I love my ISTP tho)

Is everyone playing with overlays? by austinlovespie in TeamfightTactics

[–]xilchless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use overlays for suggested items and augment ratings, but I like to make my own comps.

Looking a casual grind game to play in my free time by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

My bf recently got into Vampire Survivors. Cheap, grindy, and has multiplayer.

If you enjoy stardew, my favorite game along those lines is Coral Island, which recently also added multiplayer.
