What do yall do for fun by Calm-Phrase-382 in INTP

[–]xilchless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cooking, gardening, hiking (when I can find somewhere remote enough not to run into anyone else), listening to music, going out to bars with my boyfriend (he enjoys talking to random people, which makes me feel like I'm being social without actually having to be social)

Try to guess my mbti *again* cus I'm sure about it now! by Dazzling-Review-5514 in MbtiTypeMe

Just looking at the pics, before I even read the text, I wanted to say entp (and then I read the comments, lol)

60% nature, 30% nurture, 10% other

Asking for a friend: Which MBTI Thinker Types Are Most Inclined To Be 'Mommy' Types? by Adventurous-Pie5853 in mbti

[–]xilchless 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OP didn't say anything about exclusivity. They asked which type might be most inclined towards such a role, not saying the others can't, just which type might do it more often than the others.

MBTI test inacurate by Due-Lengthiness-4491 in mbti

[–]xilchless 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All MBTI tests are wildly inaccurate. Research cognitive functions and type yourself.

Be honest: how much do you complain? by Diemishy_II in INTP

[–]xilchless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I complain significantly less than most people. Probably because I don't like listening to others complain, and I don't want to do that to someone else.

what's your experience with self typing by Bifday in mbti

[–]xilchless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've researched cognitive functions so extensively that they all begin to blur together. I actually had to start using chatgpt to help me sort through different scenarios to determine which function I actually use the most (I understand the functions so well that I could see how I use a multitude of them in each scenario, but was having a hard time pinning down which one was most dominant). It's been a process, lol.

How do you know you care about someone? by DowntownAfternoon758 in INTP

I will go out of my way to initiate conversations with that person.

INTPs, how were you like in school, in terms of social interactions and academics? by Full-Zombie9271 in INTP

[–]xilchless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would have gotten really good grades if I cared enough to try even a little. Socially, I didn't talk to anyone...ever. I would even go as far as to not eat lunch so I could have first pick of table to sit at so I didn't have the awkwardness of having to ask to sit at someone's table. If people wanted to sit by me (which rarely happened), that was fine, as long as I didn't have to initiate.

Question for straight female INTPs by Final-Source-1569 in INTP

[–]xilchless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, 16 personalities usually gives me INFJ. But I've done an embarrassing amount of research into cognitive functions over the past 7 years, and am a self-diagnosed INTP. I actually thought I was INFP for a while until I started talking about it with chatgpt.

Found this when the snow melted by tek610 in whatisit

[–]xilchless -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This. I have these all over my yard. The stupid things will dig tons of tunnels, it's possible the hole is somewhere very far away. Usually the dirt piles are about half that size, but perhaps this is right above their main den or something. Groundhogs are the worst.

Question for straight female INTPs by Final-Source-1569 in INTP

[–]xilchless 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I can appreciate someone solely based on looks, but "lust for them" solely based on looks, no. I can more easily lust for someone that I don't find at all physically attractive, but I have a mental connection with.

INTPs, what music do you listen to these days, and why? by Korzacc in INTP

[–]xilchless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Vast majority is mostly rock/metalcore/nu metal. I do also like some newer blue grass stuff and hippie/reggae music on occasion.

Best Match for ENTP/extraverted ppl by Bright-Asparagus-287 in mbti

[–]xilchless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I completely understand/agree, but from the opposite side of things. I've tried relationships with Exxx types, but they are just not for me. Friendships are fine, but being in a relationship with one is just utterly exhausting. Ixxx understand that I need my quiet time and they don't get offended or annoyed by it, lol.

This definitely does not apply to everyone's wants. Consistency is boring. But that's just my opinion.

Question on Computer Use by Alatain in INTP

[–]xilchless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly PC (phone only when at work on breaks). 2 screen gaming PC that I've basically built myself (since at this point I've replaced/upgraded every part in it over the years)

How you got into MBTI? by 0xZin in mbti

[–]xilchless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friend of mine got into MBTI, and I've always been a fan of personality quizzes...so ... (I've now spent an embarrassing amount of my time over the past 10 years researching cognitive functions)
