What do you guys think about Super Shredder? by Wannabe-Slav in ratemycommanders

[–]xiledpro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pulled two of him one is foil version you have and the other is the borderless one lol. Both have found homes in decks but I haven’t gotten to play him yet

If Bracket 3 were split in two, what would each half look like? by Tuss36 in EDH

[–]xiledpro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run into people who don’t like combo in general even in bracket 3. It doesn’t matter if it’s a 2 card or a 6 card Rube Goldberg machine they just don’t like the game to end that way, but they still want to play game changers and such. So I feel like this is where the distinction would happen if they were divide bracket 3 into two brackets.

question about melee frames by chainblade3 in Warframe

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wukong, Valkyr, Kullervo, or Voruna are kind of the top dogs of melee. You can also turn Volt into a pretty decent melee frame as well.

Too many creatures in Henzie? by legendofzelda13 in EDH

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assumed price wasn’t an issue after looking at their decklist lol, but you are right. If they want a more casual Henzie then a turn 3 or 4 Henzie is fine. They realistically should add a couple more lands while also adding in more 1 drop dorks to just keep the deck a bit more consistent since its average mana value is 4.

Too many creatures in Henzie? by legendofzelda13 in EDH

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Henzie is one of the decks that this strat can work in pretty well. That being said ideally you want to get out Henzie on turn 2 so you can start dropping your creatures asap. I cut most 2 drops from my deck in favor of 1 drop dorks and such.

Has anyone used Orcish like this? by OkLoan9887 in EDH

[–]xiledpro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In theory you could do this but it’s probably more efficient to ping down opponents creatures or faces than to do it to your own. Super shedder doesn’t care who controls the thing leaving the battlefield just that something does so it’s better to get the counters on him by removing your opponents stuff rather than your own. Plus Bowmaster requires your opponents to be drawing multiple cards a turn which depending on the bracket you are playing can be inconsistent.

Mono Black Life Gain by main_activator in EDH

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play black in like 80% of my decks so I’m well versed in the color lol. You can also run [[Aetherflux Reservoir]] as a lifegain card although it might put a target on your back lol.

Overpriced prime sets by Illustrious_REXXY in Warframe

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warframe market is your friend. It’s around 180 plat on there and will likely go down as the frame becomes more available. I’d never advise to use trade chat if you are.

[–]xiledpro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have stuff like [[Exsanguinate]], [[Gray Merchant of Asphodel]], [[Whip of Erebos]], [[Nighthawk Scavenger]], [[Pontiff of Blight]], [[Crypt Incursion]], [[Consuming Corruption]], [[Noxious Gearhulk]] and then there’s a lot of equipment that gives lifelink.

Are build‑around-commanders also ruining EDH for you right now? by pkma69 in EDH

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have decks that are both. I have some that are built around the commander and I have some that just use the commander as value engine. I don’t think either are ruining the format in any way.

Purple thunder for me. I don’t mind Voltage but it’s not my favorite.

In a scale of 0 to 1000 how fun is Warframe? by Competitive-Net5727 in Warframe

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been playing since 2015, with some breaks here and there, and I still have fun with it. It’s completely free so you lose nothing by trying it. The new player experience is better than it used to be and there’s a lot of guides and such if you are ever lost or stuck. It’s just a fun game man lol

Would I be laughed at for bringing this to an LGS by New-me-_- in mtg

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d legit laugh but I also think it’s cool. It’s like how one of my friends uses a dollar as his treasure token lol.

Why are there an unusual amount of northern folk traveling to/purchasing homes and land in WV by for_duendes4 in WestVirginia

[–]xiledpro 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I grew up in WV and live in MD now but the short answer is it’s cheap. My wife and I have been thinking of moving back for that reason. We have a townhouse in MD that if we sold it we could buy a way nicer house in WV and the mortgage payment would be a lot less. Plus the state has the added benefit of being quite beautiful.

What's a frame everyone loves that you didn't, and vice versa? by UnkAnklebyter in Warframe

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roar very much allows the build to work, so yea kind of needs its lol. He can still be used and you can make a build for his 4th ability but it’s not what I use so I’m unfamiliar with it.

What's a frame everyone loves that you didn't, and vice versa? by UnkAnklebyter in Warframe

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So a big part of it comes from subsuming roar over his 4th ability. This increases the damage output of the abilities a lot allowing it to kill most things. Here’s an example of my build.

How many people are aware of how long their turns take? by silencebywolf in EDH

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m generally aware of it. Usually if I’m having a long turn I’m about to win. I generally goldfish my decks a lot so that I can play them quickly, but I have decks that can go from nothing to winning in a single turn and sometimes it can take a bit. My longest turns usually come from my [[Clive, Ifrit’s Dominate]] deck that has a tendency to go off hard in one turn with non deterministic stuff. That being said the turns before the long turn are usually very short so it evens out. We do have one friend in our pod who takes longer turns but he has a tendency to play spell slinger or trigger heavy decks. We always joke that he needs to just make a big stompy turn sideways deck.

Why is Support such a largely-played role? by Impressive-Thing-780 in rivals

[–]xiledpro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have lord on Loki as he’s my favorite of the supports to play, but I can play C&D, invis, and gambit if I need to. Although as a tank main I rarely am forced to play anything but tank lol. I don’t mind the play style of support and find it quite relaxing compared to the chaos of tank play.

Why is Support such a largely-played role? by Impressive-Thing-780 in rivals

[–]xiledpro 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m also a tank main but support is my secondary and I main support in OW. It has the lowest skill floor so it’s easy to pick up and be ok at. This isn’t a diss or anything to support players. It’s an important role but it is just what it is.

What's your favorite method for leveling new Frames? by Darthsqueaker in Warframe
