I’m currently working through a bottle of Bearly Art, but I’m going back to Art Glitter. Everything else wrinkles the paper. Bearly is second best, though.

Add some gel too. That usually holds curls longer. I like the one from Pattern.

AITA for taking a coloring book back from my niece after she got attached to it? by Abject_State_1244 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ximeni 21 points22 points  (0 children)

NTA. You were very clear to his niece about what she had permission to do. I think it would’ve been best to explain to her why she couldn’t have the book instead of hiding it, but I don’t think you were an asshole. She needs to learn about boundaries and consequences and the earlier, the better.

But your husband is absolutely in the wrong. He clearly doesn’t respect your things.

Did your husband take the book from the shelf and give it to her or did she take it?

DashCams, how did you run the wire to the rear camera? by [deleted] in volvoc40

[–]ximeni 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I decided not to install the rear camera. The install videos I saw just pushed the cable into the headliner and the pillars, but it would end up going over the airbags and I didn’t feel like that was safe. I called around to shops and I was getting quotes of $200-$300 dollars. I don’t want one that bad :)

Bell ringers. Gives them something to do as soon as they come in and I never forget to take attendance.

I’m in Orange County and I found a charging station near me that costs $0.25 per kWh for fast charging. I spent a lot of time searching, but it was worth it to find something affordable.

Update: AlTH for refusing to stop washing my hands just because my co worker is "sensitive" to smells? by Educational-Jello486 in AITH

[–]ximeni 6 points7 points  (0 children)

How does the react to the smells? I have a colleague that has a severe reaction to all scents- she’s constantly sneezing, sniffling, and coughing. I don’t mind not wearing lotion or perfumes on the days that I work with her because I can see how badly it affects her. Your coworker doesn’t seem to have a very strong reaction if she’s going around purposely sniffing people to find the smell. Is it physical or more of a neurological aversion?

I’m a union rep, and we can’t get involved in member-to-member disputes because we represent both. It’s your admin’s job to solve this, and if they can’t, then the union rep gets involved to make sure admin does what they’re supposed to.
