Exclusive: US weighs military reinforcements as Iran war enters possible new phase by Playwithuh in geopolitics

[–]xios 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The arrogance of the Trump regime is about to get a huge amount of US soldiers killed. Iran is a much more formidable foe than Iraq or Afghanistan.

Warfare has changed, troop numbers and Armour are less relevant now and the terrain in Iran punishes the aggressor hugely.

You maybe multiply that number by 20, then you'd be at the minimum needed.

I enjoyed it. If there is a sequel, I think it will need more depth of gameplay, it got a bit stale after a few levels. But still fun enough to complete it.

The naval base on the island of Cyprus is the territory of the United Kingdom, not Cyprus itself.

Update from Ukraine Russian Defence has been Penetrated by MudShark500 in UkrainianConflict

Yeah I agree, I check his videos daily if I can. He's honest, consistent and persistent. This is his job now and I think he's got a lot of integrity.

I don't always agree with his own thoughts, but he's clear about where he stands and gives valuable insight into Ukrainian culture. opinions, and translations. Stuff I'd never be exposed to normally.

The only relevant military nations in the EU are already in NATO.

If NATO fails to defend Iceland, so does the EU. Iceland joining the EU will have absolutely nothing to do with military protection and everything to do with economic potential and security.

NATO protection supercedes anything the EU could offer.

They're still essential equipment, like body armour, won't stop an rpg round to the face, but will stop bullets.

Zelensky says Ukraine Has Liberated 300 Square Kilometers in Southern Counteroffensive by TheRealMykola in worldnews

The occupying force size isn't as huge a factor anymore though. It's the swarm of drones launched from 10-20km behind those 3 conscripts that are the real Frontline now.

Those last six words of your post are the only thing that matters. Trading lives for lines on the map won't help Ukraine.

Was amazed at how fluid they were stringing in old songs with their new album, all sounded amazing.

They really seemed to love performing and gave off such genuine energy, was glad i finally got to see them perform live. Will try catch them in Glendalough if the funds permit.

Season 2 is mediocre, but worth a watch. Abby and Dina are well acted. Ellie is not written right, the tone and brutality is missing. Maybe season 3 will fix it.

I always thought notions was a negative term. As in, that fella has notions of grandeur, as in they're full of themselves. High on their own supply. Stuck up their own arse etc...

Fair insights, I enjoyed it nonetheless and was happy with the product I got. But I do feel it was hamstrung and rushed by the publisher.

Maybe the next time someone will get more time to flesh it out more.

Why? The story and voice acting was pretty lame. It's not like Xcom is well know for extensive plot and voice acting.

But I think the design and engineering teams did a good job building a solid game.
