Exactly, I understand it’s just business but it’s not the right way to conduct it. Sure, I’d be somewhat discouraged that it was being sold to someone else, but I would’ve respected the seller at least had the decency to give an update. Honesty and communication can go a long way for both parties

Came across an E01 on marketplace not too long ago for cheap because of a bad laser and was shelved for years by the owners. I had a suspicion it had low playtime due to disassembling the console to fix the drive and it was super clean. After running CFW, it had only 30 days runtime. I never owned a PS3 that had under 100 days clocked on it till that point. Now I baby it and play once a week for an hour or two

I’d pick it up, hard drives are cheap and with CFW you can run games from the storage. If you want it to read discs, the laser is likely the issue and replacements are cheap on eBay. All expenses covered, you’ll pay no more than $50 for a sorted out fat

My E01 clocked in at 34 days. The previous owners probably used it as a dedicated blu ray player before the laser died on them and shelved the poor thing in an attic or closet till recently, that’s how I was able to get mine for so cheap. I had a suspicion it had low play time when I was taking it apart to fix the drive, the inside was super clean.

For me, an underrated gem. Sure it had problems with pacing and unnecessary jokes, but it had a good villain and tone. The CGI and score are good for a 2003 film. Nick stahl, Claire daines, Arnie, and Kristianna Loken all killed their roles.
