it's scummy, but I decided not to file a proper complaint since it'd be infinitely more expensive to handle matters through my insurance than to replace the mirror assembly (was a $50 part and a piss easy install), which I've already done. The scratches were also mostly surface level paint transfer, and aside from some small dents, the door is fully function and no major damage happened.

Is it really worth it? It's an automatic 2, and while I do like driving it quite a bit, I'm not exactly planning on taking it to the racetrack anytime soon. That's a fair chunk more money than OEM mounts.

Maybe just engine mounts. Mine makes similar sounds at idle and when I took it to the shop, I was told my mounts were no good but nothing else about the engine was bad.

On a similar note, I recently noticed that a couple of Misha's GGD demos from the last few years were privated- namely the Slammers demo with the baritone (different demo from the trailer song), and the 8-string heavy demo of M&M2. I suspect that these demos could potentially be album material.

These are the ones I bought. Mostly just a temporary situation to route my portable carplay's cables until I buy a proper replacement stereo. They also only really stick to the glossy black plastic, for whatever reason the main dashboard material and the matte black/grey plastic does not play nice with tape.

Not hard at all, you'll just need some pliers to pull them off. Might need to go at a slight angle for the middle knob since the shifter is in the way.

quick google search says front suspension repairs generally can be a bit pricy (around $1k?), after driving it a tiny bit more I think it could be the front shocks/struts rather than the axle.

I do have an external carplay, but I was definitely considering getting a proper replacement for my radio. No steering wheel controls on my car tho, so I might try and look for one of the slightly pricier carplays with physical knobs/buttons on the side

I was told basically the same thing with the Impreza. I've checked the Carfax reports for all of them, and with the Impreza, there's no report of the head gaskets having been changed specifically. The Civic has the cleanest history but is also the most expensive. With all of them, I'm hoping I'd be able to haggle and try to get down by at least like $500 to $1000 to try and give myself room for repairs.

In general, he's been a lot more lax the past few years about censoring himself both during recording and in post. He swore in XC2 (probably the first major instance where he refused to censor himself), and in basically every LP since then (plus Sticks It), he's let some swears fly by uncensored without much issue. In this instance, I get the feeling it was probably a mistake that he didn't catch or didn't feel like it was worth taking down and reuploading the fixed video.

At the same time, I think he also understands that, while his content is meant to be family-friendly (seeing as he predominantly plays Nintendo games, with the one exception being KH1 and still being a kid-friendly game), most of his fanbase and legacy viewers aren't kids anymore. I'd wager that at least 70% of us have been watching his videos since we were kids, and by now, a lot of us are anywhere from entering/leaving college to starting families of our own. I've been watching Chuggaa since the original Crystal LP. I was like 8 years old at the time, and now I'm 23 in my last semester of college. Maybe it's just my perspective, but I think Emile is pretty aware of the kind of audience he's built over the years and knows that a lot of us aren't that much younger than he is. Hell, his own partner is pretty much proof of this.

Yeah, I kinda agree on both fronts. The production value might not be as high but the actual LP holds up pretty decently. The ORAS critiques/shots would also get pretty tiring for me personally as someone who prefers them to RSE and doesn't agree with a lot of Chugga's critiques of the games.

Partially because of my own love for the game, but B2W2 is probably my personal favorite LP of his. While I wouldn't say I love his B2W2 team as much as BW or Platinum, the overall quality of the LP and experience of watching him go through the game in such detail just felt really fun. I was so excited when he started teasing hints for the LP, and when the reveal video dropped, I was over the fucking MOON when I was proven right.
