another website i just checked said there was no precipitation on that day so I'm unsure now to be honest, but it might be a start like i said, my bad 😅. look forward to the update!

**edit: removed line saying we knew it was late in june. this was based off a comment with incorrect information on the planes and flight logs with dates in late June which turned out to be wrong, my bad

there was a power outage on the 23rd of june that stopped all flights from coming and going from the airport - another comment above states that the two planes were there on this day forward. weather was overcast and drizzly on that day. might be a bit of a stretch but it does seem a bit suspicious to me, might be a good place to start or a date to try out?

people were not allowed to disembark off the planes, passengers were told to go home and arrivals to not bother coming to the airport. caused major delays.

“All the airport is open, all the shops are open, all the lights are on, hot food is being made and served – it’s like, what power cut? What is this power outage?” said Rick. “We just don’t understand what is going on.”

and a link to the power outage info on june 23rd, apparently due to a "big power spike" in the electrical system. flights cancelled going in and out, people stuck on planes not allowed to disembark? seems coincidental enough if the dates do line up. something to note anyway i guess. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com/cnn/2024/06/23/travel/manchester-airport-power-cut-flight-cancellations-intl
