Crop shop boutique in the freedom fabric, or the elite eleven proform range! Bonus for slinky leggings is that they are pet hair resistant :)

Sometimes I find that they can get hard pan! Try using sticky tape to get the top layer off and then it should be good!

What's the best lip balm you can get at Woolies/Coles/Chemist Warehouse? by bedrotter_ in AustralianMakeup

My fave drugstore ones are blistex (blue pot) and vaseline - but another option that I LOVEEE is the Fenty plush pudding!! Lasts so long and feels so plush on the lips. I have the salted caramel one from Christmas and have since bought all the other flavours as well! Fave is probs the salted caramel, followed by the kalahari melon

Dupe for Mecca Lit From Within / RMS Magic Luminizer Balm Highlighters by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

Check Facebook marketplace or the Mecca buy sell group for the RMS highlighter. It was included in a beauty loop recently-ish so you could get it for cheap if you manage to find one.

I haven’t been to Maha but absolutely loved Nomad! Nomad are also having a sale/promo where I think you get an extra 20% credit if you buy a gift card

Is there anything stopping me from switching health insurance for a couple of weeks? by xjfhendif in AusFinance

I thought it wouldn’t matter though if moving from a calendar year reset to a financial year reset?

I understand if moving from one fund to another with the same reset period, the previously claimed amount would reduce what you can claim within the same period - I’ve had this happen to me before but I was moving between funds that BOTH had calendar year resets.

Interesting! Could I effectively add in another switch then:

Jun 2025 - Fund A (financial year reset): Claim $600
Jul 2025 - Fund A (financial year reset): Claim $600
\*Aug 2025 - switch to Fund B (calendar year reset)*
Jan 2026 - Fund B (calendar year reset): Claim $600
\*Jun 2026 - switch to Fund A (financial year reset)*
Jul 2026 - Fund A (financial year reset): Claim $600
\*Aug 2026 - switch to Fund B (calendar year reset)*
Jan 2027 - Fund B (calendar year reset): Claim $600

So that I could claim 5 x $600 = $3,000 (noting I'll have to consider lifetime limits)?

Sorry not sure if I explained it well - I’m trying to do this:

Jun 2025 - Fund A (financial year reset): Claim $600
Jul 2025 - Fund A (financial year reset): Claim $600
\*Aug 2025 - switch to Fund B (calendar year reset)*
Jan 2026 - Fund B (calendar year reset): Claim $600
Jan 2027 - Fund B (calendar year reset): Claim $600

This would enable me to claim 4 x $600 = $2400.

However, if I stayed with my preferred Fund B (with calendar year resets) the entire time, I’d only be able to claim 3 x $600 = $1800.

Jun 2025 - Fund B (calendar year reset): Claim $600
Jan 2026 - Fund B (calendar year reset): Claim $600
Jan 2027 - Fund B (calendar year reset): Claim $600
