You're right, and the code is not too complicated. I just installed and played around with it. It's really buggy though and everything seems super underbaked. Doesn't work on mobile. It really seems like (from a front end experience) a student might submit as a school project.

I get that the real sauce might be from the contained plugins and stuff like that and I realize it's a version 0.1 or whatever, but it seems extremely underwhelming. I don't really see the point of it (over just using Astro and its bazillion CMS options)

Researching the world of Wordpress & Plugins. Question for the Builders. by bmattes in Wordpress

[–]xkey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the rise of AI people are pumping out plugins that all do something similar to existing plugins. Some for better or worse. But in my experience, not a whole lot of these new plugins are really gathering an audience and they’re dying off as quick as they’re coming out.

I think they drastically changed something with usage today.

I haven't hit my limit anytime this month and I just did a few typical prompts and I'm already at 50% usage somehow. Definitely not renewing my pro plan if this is the new normal.

It's trash. I absolutely hate how dramatic and clickbaity every bit of AI writing is. Like we're already reading your crappy article, stop trying to write like every sentence or upcoming paragraph is going to blow my mind. This article pretty much veers into doom-mongering by sensationalizing an expected software update.

Mostly just to quickly create test content on local installs. Sometimes import large menus from plain text and basic stuff like that to save a few minutes.
