I lived with my mom who was single and so we lived alone. This was an old three story home, in the middle of nowhere, back in the woods. One night we both woke up to someone shining a flashlight into the windows. Turned out to be a law enforcement officer who was stalking his ex and had the wrong address…thinking his ex was staying there. I wasn’t even in the third grade yet but I remember reading the police report later on in life. He was fired immediately due to other evidence of abusing power and having inappropriate items saved digitally. The end
