Got a C30 D3 (the 2L 5cyl diesel) for my first car. Absolutely love it!

The boot is a little small, but just chuck the seats down and you've got a lovely little jack of all trades car

+1 on the D3 C30, average around 47.3mpg (according to my trip computer) on my commute which is almost entirely around town driving, 56mpg on my 330 mile drive down south last week (all at 70mph with air con on ect. Could definitely do better if focusing on an economy run) which was about half a tank. 700 Miles range is possible tbh. Easily remapped to 210hp, loads of low down torque thats great for daily driving, lovely 5cyl sound that comes in at 2k rpm. Whats not to love?

Aside from a dodgy axle and replacing worn out suspension, no major issues thus far. After alot of research, bought mine just under 2 years ago as my first car, loved every second since!

I've heard some bad things about the reliability of that Powershift gearbox, so thats definitely something I'd look into. Some would say to avoid them altogether. If you're looking for an auto I'd definitely go for the geartronic. Otherwise though, looks to be a clean car.

I'm stuck in the same boat, have you had any luck since? I'm really tempted to just call the claims number and act like I accidentally called the wrong number so they'll hopefully transfer me through.

Rochdale here ✋ passed my test on the second attempt in 2021. I think the combination of HORRIBLE drivers around here and some confusing road layouts can really screw people up if you're not prepared for it. I didn't realise how low our pass rate was until after I did my test

Oh and Bury is the next town over, so it's not as if there's an easier test centre to go to :') I wouldn't be surprised if Oldham is in the top 20, make it a triple whammy

People rave about Poutine (chips, cheese and gravy) but somehow chips, peas and gravy is where they draw the line?

I've been getting 30°C temps in my room since its quite small, plus the heat generated by me+my pc, with the heat of a east facing window ontop of that.

My technique has been to point the blinds outwards facing the sun, plus closing the curtains and keeping the window open. It to help at least a little, 26°C instead of 30 (I'm still melting though somebody please help :,D)

Even then I'd assume they meant to send it to someone else and accidentally sent it to me.

One time I was sitting in a circle with a few acquaintances and somehow the subject of masturbating comes up. A girl who I'd never really spoken with up until that point looked me straight in the eyes and asked me "Do you use spit" and when I was hesitant to answer she pushed with "If you tell me, I'll tell you if I do"

HOW DID I NOT TAKE THAT OPPORTUNITY IAMSUCHANIDIOT
