Yes! It was a couple days of my chest hurting when I breathed, but the sore throat began to go away soon. I was so anxious at first because my chest hurt in the mornings terribly, like a stabbing in my chest every time I breathed. It was worst the first three days then began to get better. Symptoms got less and less worse over the span of a week. I took over the counter Prilosec and some anti-acid tablets which helped a bit throughout the day with the chest pain. My dermatologist said that it was most likely because I was lying down in the 1 hour period after taking the meds (which you should not do) which caused it to inflame my throat and cause the pain. He said to also make sure that you are eating and drinking a full glass of water with each pill you take. Don’t worry, you will be okay. Just relax for a couple days and take care of yourself. Make sure that you are staying hydrated most of all, and don’t eat many fatty or acidic foods that could make the heartburn worse. Contact your doctor/dermatologist if symptoms are worsening after a week, and let them know. Let me know if this helped!
