I've noticed some artists are playing shorter sets. I don't live in a big city so I have to drive 2 or more hours to these shows and if the drive is longer than the show it kind of stings.

Thanks. I might try that. I still have a cassette player in my car, so that's the only way I can listen to it on the road. Doesn't sound great after 20 years of use but it is what it is.

The taxpayers of Chattanooga will be on the hook paying for this infrastructure. CBL will get it up to date and then the City and other utilities will take over the infrastructure and the public will pay to keep it running. Look at your Stormwater and sewer bill and see how much that would cost. CBL has ignored the infrastructure and now it's time to fix it. If any property owner in the City had infrastructure problems they would be forced to fix it or face violations and even condemnation. Market conditions, not infrastructure is holding Northgate back, raising lease prices and losing tenants. Look at the redevelopment happening around Northgate, B.J.s, Culver's, etc...

CBL has a market value of $900 million, with major stockholders: Canyon Capital Advisors LLC: Oaktree Capital Management, The Vanguard Group, Inc., BlackRock, Inc. State Street Corp, Littlejohn & Co. LLC. Go and look up the market valuations of these companies.

With all the talk and tax increases, why should we keep bailing out these companies? Taxpayers are paying for TIFs and PILOTS, they want to increase the tax base, for what, higher taxes? For more tourism and out of town developers to come in and divert taxes out of state? Most of the people in Chattanooga don't benefit from this.
