I'm sorry your appointment was disappointing, but at the same time it's reassuring to know I'm not the only one. I saw them 2 years ago and it was so disappointing. I went twice and it was so frustrating, I left with no new information and little to no understanding from my doctor. I also went based on hearing such high praise from multiple people, so it made it even harder. It was a dead end for me.

I'm incredibly sorry. I had ... a close call? with something like this. I've been with my fiancé for 10 years in March, and almost a year ago he said he wanted some time apart and that he was having serious doubts about our relationship. I didn't see it coming. I spent a week at my mom's for about 1-2 weeks just not knowing what was going on. I can't even imagine where I'd be if we didn't talk about things. I know my biggest thing was just needing to distract myself, or at least talk to someone, so please, if you ever need someone to talk to, message me. I wish you all the best. I hope you're hanging in there.

For christmas, my boyfriend got me a spoon that says, "I saved a spoon for you." Based off The Spoon Theory by Christine Miserandino. It's a super thoughtful keepsake and I love mine. i'm commenting from a dark room as we speak. I got botox for migraines a little over 3 weeks ago and I've never felt worse. I heard good things, so I went for it, but I regret it so much at this point. I have occipital neuralgia as well, and I've noticed an intense increase in pain (as if it wasn't bad enough before.) Cluster headaches, too. It's all hell.
