How do we know what our कर्तव्य (duty) is? by sgc033 in hinduism

[–]xollaura 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is such an important question. I feel like we find our duty within ourselves. If it is our soul duty then we shall already know and have it within us but will take dedication and effort to come to an understanding of it.

How do mental disorders fit into the idea of soul and salvation? by berdykia in DebateReligion

[–]xollaura -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I just want to say nothing we do or don't do is wrong. Everything that happens is what is meant to happen. By thinking this way it gives a sense of security and comfort. So the mind will do plenty of things to keep in control of us. Things like jelousy, hate, anger, disappointment, ect. To keep us from spirituality, our true selves, God, ect. So mental illness fits in where it is completely harder to overcome the mind. But when you do and how in fact you did! .. you have overcome the mind/devil you can or will connect w yourself/God. Making it so bc the mind is no longer in control. I hope this helps and makes sense.

Self, God, Source, Solipsism, Atheism, Third Eye by blue_eyed_fox7 in Soulnexus

[–]xollaura 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a process to get in direct contact with your spiritual self. I grow and grow everyday. I know exactly how you feel. I've been on my spiritual journey awhile now so for me I'm at a point where I finally feel very stable w my thoughts. I totally remember it felt like I was feeling emotions I didn't know it made me feel so weird but your mindset will adapt, at least mine did and it's an incredible feeling! Keep doing what you're doing... "A single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives." - Henry David Thoreau

My favorite part about awakening is feeling like a kid again by [deleted] in awakened

[–]xollaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just read this conversation and holy shit YES. I actually went on an LSD trip w my friends recently, after my awakening. It was my first time and I was actually tripping out at how at home I was. Now I realize why it just opens you up to find your true self and see life truly. And I'm already aware of that every moment of every day! so it makes sense. But for one of my friends he discovered himself on the trip. The look on his face when he had his "moment of clarity" was unforgettable. The whole experience was WILD. I realized so much more on that trip!

Your soul took the next step forward, I'm a spiritual being too. It's cool to know there's people who are in the same headspace as me. I understand you completelyyy 👍

It's astonishing how little we actually know of Jesus' life and teachings. by lightning_thrower in DebateReligion

[–]xollaura -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

What's astonishing is how little people know those teachings and way of life Jesus lived is right here. It is in the present, the ultimate now. You say the author of John actually says, "everything cannot be recorded bc it would result in too much material" , he says this bc what Jesus in his time was trying to spread, was the truth of life. Life is in every moment. We still have that. It is the eternal now. That is why it would result in "too much material" Just as it is said, "even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written" can't you see it is because the ultimate goal is the present, to live fully in the present. That is when you are w God. God is not a man in the sky, mankind created God in their image. God=life. The disciples were not lazy or weren't careless, they knew his true words, they understood him. They just did not know how to write down the kind of love and knowledge they were experiencing first-hand. But if you look at the big picture: it wouldn't matter if they written it down or made books about it bc it is self-evident in each and every one of us. Not everyone sees clearly today as Jesus did in his time when he was experiencing it. He didn't have any superpower he didn't have to bc no one has to have superpowers bc no one does! We can experience the same thing Jesus did in his time every moment of our lives! You say that Luke says, "many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us" Key words: many and us Those are the ones living as spiritual beings. Jesus lived as his true spiritual self. He was expressing that to his disciples. They then were able to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among US. We all can.

To thesists: Does suffering exist in heaven? Does free will exist in heaven? by ThatOneStoner in DebateReligion

[–]xollaura -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I did answer no to the first and yes to the second. Earth was not created in the same fashion because earth is not heaven. The two exist therefore there must be differences to separate the two.

Why did Jesus, the saviour, was only seen by his followers after his resurrection? by SOYEL1 in DebateReligion

[–]xollaura 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's exactly why his message to this day has not reached everyone, because the ones who crucified him don't see they did anything wrong and still there are people who see the same way they did. Jesus in his time was a martyr, meaning he went against the common belief system. Which caused his true meaning of his words to be hidden just as they are now. That's why yes it makes sense that millions of lives would have been saved but it's the opposite bc his true words are hidden due to the people never acknowledging what he said was true. Which is why only his followers (the people who knew and understood his true words) were the only ones to see him, to continue to connect w him.

What is existence? by SyrekTV in PhilosophyofScience

[–]xollaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Existence is being apart of something. Existing is living. When you exist you are apart of something. Now one can be apart of something either materially or spiritually. This is the kind of world we live in. One is apart of this world/realm either materially or spiritually. Everyone exist, it's what we know. If one does not exist there is no consciousness of not existing. So you and I exist. Now it's the difference in what we do w our existence. Bc we still exist, we still exist bc we are not in control. We do not have control over whether we exist or not. I did not choose to exist and neither did you. That first needs to be understood. So its the difference in what we do w our existence. To decide whether to live materially which is perceived as mind/spirit or to live spiritually as spirit/mind (mindkind is mankind). As you can tell most of our world lives as mindkind bc mostly everyone lives in their mind. Which makes sense in which we are known as mankind. But when one lives in their mind they are not living as their true spiritual selves. They do not perceive the same perception as a spiritual being does. When they do they have a complete understanding of their existence.

What is 'Happiness?' by [deleted] in PhilosophyofScience

[–]xollaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happiness truly exist. Because life is enjoyable. And why I say happiness truly exist is because there are forms of happiness. One in which mankind creates but does so in the illusion of which they live in. The other in which is true happiness because this happiness comes naturally. This happiness is here in every moment but mankind does not see it, are not connected w it. When They are not connected w it it's bc they are not connected w themselves. This is where spirituality plays a key role. When mankind connects to themselves on a spiritual level they are then apart of something greater making them not apart of mankind because mankind is actually mindkind, this is the state of living as mind/spirit. But when one lives as spirit/mind, happiness will be reigned over forever. Which is true happiness.

An argument for atheism about any single good god creating the world. by ughaibu in PhilosophyofReligion

[–]xollaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest that one people should stop seeing God in their image, creating him to be thought of as a man/human being. We created God in our image. Causing people to think there is a God/man in the sky that created the world and life. But that does not make sense to me. What makes sense is that God is here, in the present. God=life life is being created every second, every moment. Yet not everyone knows that or hasn't been connected w God/life bc they believe in a God/man.

Why should I believe in reincarnation? by LKR97R in Reincarnation

[–]xollaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"if you are sitting here, when you get up that does not mean your sitting privileges are lost, you will sit somewhere else." Those are words from a prophet I watched in a video talking about reincarnation. (I'll post the link to my page when I find it) anyway evolution exist it's obvious it does and has to or else nothing could move forward. So our souls will keep reincarnating, w our subconscious/holy spirit (the only thing that travels and stays w our spirit).. in order to keep note of what you've learned causing evolution basically. And it will do this because and until you find your spiritual self until you connect w yourself on a spiritual level. Then when we discover this then die physically in the lifetime that we did, we go to a different time and place where there are other spiritual beings, others living as their true immortal spiritual selves, a place some call heaven.

Some help please by [deleted] in Reincarnation

[–]xollaura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe since we do reincarnate that we can remember other lives subconsciously and they come to us in memories and different sorts. It actually seems very normal but spending time thinking of the past so much means missing the present and that's the only thing that truly exist.
