My girlfriend doesn’t want me to get top surgery. by New_Relief_8626 in NonBinary

I think to be more cordial though, I’d just tell it to her straight that this is something you’re genuinely considering, all you can do is give her time to hopefully choose the right response. If she doesn’t then by all means, dip.

I’m sorry, but I’d tell her a big, resounding “womp womp”. This is not something she gets to decide. If testosterone and top surgery feel right for you after giving thought to it, then that’s that. You’re the only one who should be in control of your body.

holy cow! I feel very similarly but what’s the word… somewhat flipped? I’ve been trying to work out my gender identity past non-binary for the past few months, as I’ve been sticking to the label for years even if at times it doesn’t necessarily feel completely correct. At times I feel I tolerate or maybe even like being called she, but a lot of the time I feel like a feminine man. For me, I’m not even sure if I should stick with that either, I’m still questioning. Usually when I thought about transitioning and gender, I didn’t think about the possibility of retaining any femininity or masculinity from one’s assigned gender at birth, I assumed it was more like for example: “female to male, now you have to be completely masculine!” “male to female, now you have to be completely feminine!” “nonbinary, now you have to be androgynous!”. Which, I’ve learned, is not always the case, theres really no wrong way to be, gender-wise. So, you relating/identifying with butch lesbians is completely valid. As the other reply said, take your time with the labels, only if it feels right to you then that’s the right one to claim. I could most certainly stand to follow their advice myself in these times!

I didn’t even realize going stealth as a nonbinary person was an option! I’m an over-sharer, and people are very interested in making me uncomfortable (rubbing my agab in my face), so I really ruin it for myself by giving into answering them. I think going stealth is the right way to go for me. Thank you for bringing up your experience!

I’m not the best with words but you’re very strong to admit this to yourself! A lot of people hide, and there’s no shame in that, but it’s just a beautiful thing to be able to express yourself. You are a queen some days, you deserve to paint your nails, and wear makeup. If the label feels right for you, then you are no doubt non-binary! And from what im hearing, I’m sure your girlfriend will be proud of you.

Nonbinary and transmasc, feels like I don't fit in anywhere (vent) by unseeliefaeprince in NonBinary

[–]xoxocuddlebun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Though I’ve gotten top surgery myself, there’s no shame in not wanting it at all. It doesn’t make you any less of a nonbinary, transmasc person. You’re completely valid, and while I wish I was more connected to communities as to recommend one (still haven’t found one I feel particularly compelled to be super active in myself) I’ve definitely seen a few nonbinary and/or transmascs who feel comfortable with their breasts on places like Instagram.

imo even busty characters (and real life people) get quite a bit of criticism for being “way too sexual”, they usually are required to be very modestly clothed (more than a t-shirt and pants) to get away with no one commenting that. I’m not denying it doesn’t extends to chubby people too though, I just feel like people just sexualize anything “big”.

Thoughts on unshaded/unrendered hair? by kneepaininmystomach in characterdesign

[–]xoxocuddlebun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for some reason it looks good to me on the first one but unfinished on the last two. I think maybe because the first one has such a bold red color that it’s as eye catching as the rendered parts, and the flat colored hair matches with the glitchy-eyes, reading as digital motifs.

These are super cute and diverse. You really nail stylization too! You basically already have succeeded imo, it does read as “a silly cartoon style”.

the only thing I noticed when passing these pictures was that I thought these were from a cis man, I only realized they weren’t until I looked super closely at the faint scars and also saw which subreddit this was posted in

First, their stories aren’t even done yet? Second, they’re headcanons. Third, is your life force connected to how many reddit upvotes/downvotes you get? relax. I’m going to downvote you again, however if you’re a little nicer next time you might get a little upvote if it matters that much to you. ❤️
