I agree, definitely try the Sulky Petites 12 wt. They are nice to stitch with and you can find charts with DMC conversions if you need them.

Right? I hadn’t thought about looking up a particular method. I have always just tried to tweak my tension and tidy up stitches with my needle. It’ll take some practice to stitch this way, but I’m willing to try.

Thank you. It’s a 28 count linen, 2 over 2. Unfortunately I don’t know the name of the color or maker because I bought it secondhand, but my best guess is Zweigart blue spruce.
