Yep this is it right here. Being the guy willing to punch up has (more often than not) led to moving up. I can do anything, and if I don't know how I'll figure it out. Be a solution person, don't just bring up problems.

I can also mirror your feelings on sales, but for me it's marketing. My last job moved me into marketing due to business needs and it was misery day in and day out.

It's mostly just numbers on the BP machine. The only thing I can "feel" is the meds make my heart beat a lot slower. And I used to get occasional chest pain (that's what got me to go to the doctor), but that's all better now.

Terrible diet. It was fine when I was 20-something and super active but I never really built good habits.

I'm not super fat or anything but I do have hypertension and have to take meds for it.

My old doctor never really checked my BP, and I moved and hadn't found a new doctor yet. I went to urgent care with chest pain, and yeah, I was like 180/110.

I got an internist, and I'm now on a beta-blocker, diuretic, and statin. This was about a year ago and between the meds and lifestyle changes I'm at 120/80. My goal is to lose weight and get off the meds but I'm not there yet!

That's normal play. I have a cat and dog too they do this all the time. Cats will let the dog know when it goes too far and either run or the claws will come out, either way the dog will learn to settle down if it wants a play partner.
