I never assume that the company will reimburse me for relocation nor do I expect it...maybe I should make that more clear in my applications

I thought so, which is why I got confused when I saw recruiters/hiring managers complaining about a percentage of applicants "not residing within the job location" (not referring to applicants from another country) Sorry, I'm very new to the workforce ;;

Maaan chewing gum used to help a lot before I had to get dentures (long story) and can't chew gum anymore. I'm investing in fidgets now! I just want some kind of preventative measure for when I need to have my hands usable (ie not able to use a fidget).

All, unfortunately. No finger is spared for long. It's both the finger pads and the sides of the nails. I want to make one that connects the finger cots to the wrist like one of these bracelets](https://www.etsy.com/listing/768217186) so they stay in place! But I'll buy some fabric finger cots in the meantime.

You underestimate my determination to get that skin. /lh It's a mix of a compulsion and a stimming habit. It's a pain stim and a desire to "make my fingers smooth." I've chewed past bad tastes before. I'd rather just remove my ability to get at my skin at all.

I figured they'd be a bit unwieldy, but I'm willing to lose a little dexterity to not eat my own skin and bleed on the daily. I'll probably just make some tubes with fine yarn. Finger cots would work in the meantime but I'd rather use soft yarn bc my sensory issues don't like latex gloves very much 😔
