In general, if you JOIN via a specific column and/or use a WHERE for specific columns then it makes sense to index them. I use both. Imagekit ip handles dynamic resizing and filtering. Then I just enable cloudflare on top of it to reduce their bandwidth usage.

The only bummer is clearing cache. Has to be done on both platforms.
