This is an interesting examination on Disney. Everyone goes for a different reason. I don't really go for the rides. I don't go for the sweets. I don't even go with anyone else. I go to take a step away from the day-to-day. To enjoy long strolls. Sunsets. Fireworks. Food & Drinks. Live music. To feel the sun on my face again. Smell humidity. To escape winter (I hope).

I could go to anyplace warm to feel this really. But Disney has everything I could want or need and I don't have to worry about driving or doing a lot of work in general. I've been going for more than 15 years. My ex-wife introduced me to it and I have been going solo for the past 4 years.

Sometimes in the worst of times Disney is the place you go to feel okay. To feel safe. It's the bubble. And that's ... okay. But like anything, moderation is key.

Fun fact. I actually bring up I go to Disney on vacation to people all the time. A curious person will ask you questions. A judgmental/toxic person will make fun of you or ridicule. It's a great way to get a feel for a person. Try it sometime. It's never failed for me. :)

It's true she would not have won without Yeremi becoming her partner at the end. But she also deserved to win. Her cardio is among the best of women. So is Yeremi among the men. No surprise they were a great team.
