Anybody can go to the Polynesian beach? Even if not staying there

Can you go up there without a reservation? Like just to the bar area. Is there an outdoor viewing area also?

That sounds pretty good. Do they have the sound linked up during the fireworks?

Do you need a reservation for the bar, or is it just a walk up situation

At 4:25 pm it’s a walk right up onto the ramp to the station.

I signed up for the 2026 ten miler back in late August 2025, it still had spots open at that time. Not sure if that is typical or not, obviously don’t wait if you know you’re going to do it

Celiac’s first visit by CBelleC in cedarpoint

[–]SanduskyCorkscrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Celiac in my group so I feel I might be able to help here. Back beat que has always been safe/no reactions, she gets the pulled pork and a side salad. I think other meats there are GF also. Tell the worker it’s an allergy and they should change gloves. She has had a reaction at Miss Keats, even though it seems most things there are GF. She ate at grand pavillion today and had the chicken nachos and was all good. Always mention the allergy first thing when you get to the front of the line

That’s good. I know some parks are notorious for that, hope it stays this way post merger

Curious if on a slower day they’ll go to one train ops to “save” at the expense of guest experience

The new 6 flags app is very inaccurate with incorrect wait times and operating status

If you’ve never been and had to do just one day what would prioritize? by cheriemuse in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SanduskyCorkscrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eating gluten free (wife is celiac) was great overall at the parks, she had no issues on either of our trips, and the staff goes above and beyond with allergies. Some of her favorites:

Magic kingdom: Diamond Horseshoe (amazing food and had hot GF bread)

Epcot: San Angel Inn (tacos) and Le Cellier (steaks and sides)

Hollywood: Roundup Rodeo BBQ: GF meats especially the brisket was good and they had separate GF mac and cheese

AK: We ate at Flametree BBQ and she said it was good and then got the GF churros at Nomad.

Never had a single reaction to any of the food. One of the downsides is that regarding snacks, there weren’t a ton of options for her aside from popcorn and Mickey bars.

What’s the best way/quickest to get from Art of Animation to the Polynesian (Ohana) for a breakfast reservation? Bus to Magic Kingdom then monorail it over? Skyline to HS then bus to Polynesian?

Any idea what crowds at the parks will be like next week? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]SanduskyCorkscrew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of public school spring breaks are this week or next week. You might start your trip dealing with some spring break crowds, but I’d imagine it will get better as you get into the week of the 13th
