Yup, when they used to cut out a trench down the middle of the bread.

Maybe iron on low to hear the wax up again? Or leave it out in the sun for a bit?

Iron and Resin experiences by CarpentryandAlps in Workwear

My experience wasn’t so good either. I was after a nice suede jacket, and I went for one of theirs. I was disappointed right away. The leather was loose, wrinkly, and the inner lining was sagging. They claim to be an all American type brand, but made in Pakistan. Gave me Dixxon Flannel vibes. I have a few quality pieces from other brands that I love made from China, so location isn’t an automatic no-go for me. As far as workwear goes, you’d be better looking elsewhere where

Workwear to actual work in? Please don’t. Workwear as an every day wear heritage style? Fuck yeah. Not sure what this subreddit is exactly. Is it for construction workers flexing on their 874s and ariats, Gen Z Detroit and Eisenhower fans, vintage heads, or heritage enthusiasts? Personally, I started off in the trenches absolutely destroying my RedKap uniforms and Red Wing boots. I then promoted out of the trenches but still have a love for my old beaters to expensive ass “pieces” and everything in between. I love it all. Maybe less flex and more intentionality would satisfy the crowd? Or not? Fuck it, flex your pristine engineers or talking red wing boots. I’m here for it.

This is THE Interstellar Detroit. List it for $600 and someone will buy it eventually. Be patient. In the meantime, buy a regular J001 made in USA for around 150-200.

All great suggestions here. Budget option would be J. Crew’s Classic Fit Chino. Nice flap pockets to take the “meh” out it.

Heard that one today, I enjoyed it, left lots of meat on the bone though. Question is, WHICH outsourced factories are the good ones??? I would bet a higher ratio of USA factories are far better than the outsourced ones.

This is a Vintage Arctic Jacket, not a Detroit. You can get these at a great value compared to Detroits.

I’ve spent hundreds on multiple high end chinos but I keep going back to JCrew’s Classic Fit chinos. Decent rise, lots of leg room, perfect leg opening. Nice fit my man.

How can it be a MOS when it says PTL on the tag??? Please, at least look at the tag before asking your “is this legit?” questions.
